In 2019, my stepdad Rene Garcia (after 30 years in construction) earned his EE98 license and founded 1130 E Contractors. That same year, I (Sebastian Chavez) got my real estate license. Together, we built a strong customer base through referrals and trusted relationships. In 2023, I founded 1130 Roofs to deliver honest, high-quality roofing across New Mexico. I lead the roofing division while Rene oversees general contracting. We started as a two-person team doing everything ourselves and have grown into a full-service company with dedicated crews and a reliable project management team. We work with homeowners, business owners, and investors all over the state — handling everything from commercial projects and full remodels to house flips. Fully licensed (GB98, EE98, GA3) and insured, we specialize in shingle, tile, TPO, and metal roofing systems. Our focus is simple: transparent communication and doing the job right the first time. Today, we’ve grown into a full-service roofing and contracting firm serving both residential and commercial clients across the state.
